For the completion of my EDGE Project at Southern Utah University, I am taking a two week dance intensive in Taipei, Taiwan at the National Taiwan University. I am hoping that in the emersion of another culture, I will be able to discover a difference not only in my own movement but also in myself and my understanding of the world around me. In addition to taking dance classes, I will also be experiencing different locations around Taipei, gaining knowledge of the Chinese culture, as well as interacting with Taiwan's dance students. This trip will be a once in a lifetime experience and I am very excited to learn about this culture that is so different from my own.
